From Energy Central: With the completion of its Horse Hollow Wind Energy Center in Texas, FPL Group Inc. said it now has the largest wind farm in the world.
The project generates 662 megawatts, enough power to serve about 165,000 average homes. When it is completed, FPL Energy will generate about 735 megawatts in Taylor and Nolan counties.
The Texas project includes 291 GE 1.5-megawatt wind turbines and 130 Siemens 2.3-megawatt wind turbines spread over nearly 47,000 acres.
Abundant wind, open land, federal tax credits and rising electricity prices have made Texas the largest U.S. producer of electricity from wind.

I appreciate the concern which is been rose. The things need to be sorted out because it’s not about the individual but it can be with everyone.
