when it costs about 30 barrels of oil to make a car, what sense does it make to trade a honda accord, even if it is 10 years old, that is in perfect shape and gets 30 mpg on the highway for a hybrid that takes a minimum of six years to break even on?

i am keeping my car until i can buy a plug-in hybrid, and i'm going to install solar panels to fuel it. i can't wait!
