Welcome to the Energy Blog

  • The Energy Blog is where all topics relating to The Energy Revolution are presented. Increasingly, expensive oil, coal and global warming are causing an energy revolution by requiring fossil fuels to be supplemented by alternative energy sources and by requiring changes in lifestyle. I heard of a new technology being developed by a grad student at Boston College. It uses nano technology to build a sort of molecular coaxial antenna that absorbs photons. Instead of latently being hit with photons, the antenna attracts the photons, increasing the efficiency of a photovoltaic panel by 300-400%. This is an incredible break through, and once its commercially viable i think photovoltaics will become commonplace in energy production!
