Prescott College's 30 acre Wolfberry Farm is entirely powered by sunlight, from the irrigation-well pump, to the lights and computer in the caretaker's house, to the small fan that cools the greenhouse, the power for Wolfberry Farm comes from a series of photovoltaic solar panels.
They get some income from the sale of vegetables but the farm was never intended to be self-sustaining, the farm is a a research demonstration project -the farm is looking for energy-efficient farming methods.
