Vapema would be smart to contact British Petroleum and DuPont about using their technique to separate water from butanol. Butanol is a much superior alcohol fuel that can be used in all of our current vehicles and fueling infrastructure without modification.

Eventually BP, DuPont and others will realize that during the last 20 years new procedures have already been developed to ferment about the same amount of butanol from the same feedstocks used to ferment ethanol. We have plenty of wasted land and biomass in the USA and when our Leaders learn to read we can rapidly replace our dependence on OPEC Oil with domestic biofuels.
